ROBERT H. CASEY, SR

74, of Wakefield, and Boca Raton, FL passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. He was the beloved husband of Margaret A. "Peggy" (Meade) Casey. They were married for forty-four years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Hugh J. and Mary A. (Healey) Casey. Mr. Casey was an auditor for the US Government for over thirty years before his retirement. He was a US Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean War era. Bob was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, Class of 1953 and Bryant College, Class of 1960. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, American Legion in Baca Raton, FL and a former member of the Narragansett Lions Club.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving sons, Robert H. Casey, Jr. of Woonsocket and his companion Louise D'Amato and Brian G. Casey of Cumberland. Bob was the caring brother of Marilyn H. Cunningham of Narragansett. He was the cherished uncle of Mary and Bob McGuirl, David and Nancy Cunningham, and Daniel Cunningham. Bob was also the great uncle of four.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt.1A) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More, Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
