ROBERT L. CARVALHO, SR

89, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine F. "Cathy" (Davis) Carvalho. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John H. and Mary L. (Lowery) Carvalho. Robert was a pressman for the Providence Journal Company for twenty-five years before retiring in 1986. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. He is survived by his loving son John H. Carvalho and his wife Sue of Clearwater, FL, and was the father of the late Robert L. Carvalho, Jr. Robert was the grandfather of seven and the great-grandfather of one great grandson. He was the brother of Roberta Dyer of Narragansett. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will be private.
