Mr. Carrier was the owner of Bob Carrier's Wholesale Florist for 40 years before retiring in 1984. He was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of D.A.V. Post #17 in Coventry and was an avid bowler.
He was the devoted father of Carolyn C. DiPippo and her husband Robert of West Warwick and Marie A. Gruttadauria and her husband Ronald of Johnston; loving grandfather of five; loving great-grandfather of six; and dear brother of Anthony Carrier of Seekonk, MA, Henry Carrier of Johnston, Virginia Young of North Providence and the late Carlo, Benjamin, John and Ralph Carrier and Theresa D'Ambra.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence, at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
