Robert Thomas Branca, Sr.

a lifelong resident of Cranston, R.I., passed away peacefully on 12/25/2018, surrounded by his loving children.  Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Louise (Cardillo) Branca.

Bob was a highly accomplished carpenter and craftsman, and he had a way of making monumental tasks look easy. He always lent a helping hand to anyone who needed him, and touched the lives of many, simply by being himself.

His beautiful personality and loving nature were infectious and spilled over to anyone he came in contact with. His immense love for his family brought him the most joy, and he was so proud of his children and grandchildren, never forgetting a birthday or other important times in their lives.

He is survived by his children, Robert T. Branca, Jr. (Lauren), Debbie Improta (Guido), and Patricia White (Walter), along with 5 grandchildren.  He was the loving brother of Daniel “Junior”, Rudy, Frank, and Jeannie. He is predeceased by his loving wife Arlene, and his daughter Donna. He is also survived by his devoted wife Rachel Branca.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, 12/29/2018 at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Friday, 12/28/2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
