Robert G. "Bob" Barrow

of Cranston, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of JoAnne (Conti) Barrow and the late Mary (Conway) Barrow.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert and Hanna (Greaves) Barrow.

Bob was a highly skilled toolmaker.  He was employed for 30 years at Brier Mfg., 5 years at E.A. Adams and 18 years at W.R. Cobb until his retirement.  He was also an accomplished trumpet musician who began playing at the young age of “8 years old” and continued throughout his entire life, entertaining everyone who was fortunate to be part of his listening audience.

Besides his beloved wife JoAnne, he was the devoted father of Robert G. Barrow, Jr. and his wife Eileen of Lawrenceville, GA, John R. Barrow and his wife Linda of Wakefield and Daniel E. Barrow and his wife Deborah of Warwick; dear brother of Dawn McGuinness of North Kingstown and the late Alice Sheehan; dear father-in-law of Sue Bohorquez of Warwick; and loving grandfather of ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, (MASKS ARE REQUIRED), followed by burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to funeral service.
