Robert N. Balasco

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to share the passing of Robert “Bob” Balasco who left us on January 17,2025 after a fulfilled life surrounded by his loving family. Born July 4,1947 in Providence, RI to the late Antonio & Antonetta Balasco. He is survived by his brother Albert Balasco of Whitman, MA. 

He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Scialo) Balasco for 55 years. Devoted father to Anthony Balasco of Tampa, FL and Cristina Balasco of Cranston, RI. His family was his number one priority as he cherished his time with his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bob served honorably in the US Air Force and US National Guard. He was the owner of RNB Supply Inc. 

Bob had a profound impact on those around him, inspiring countless people with his wisdom, compassion, and generosity. Bob was known for sharing silly stories and beautiful life lessons to all. His kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had a genuine love for people with a way about him that made everyone feel as if he had known them forever. He found joy in golf, rooting for the Patriots and Yankees as well as playing cards with his friends at the Rosario Club and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. 

 A gentleman is one who puts more into the world than he  takes out. Bob was the true definition of a gentleman. 

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Immaculate Conception, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
