ROBERT L. ANDREOZZI, 75, of Cranston, passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband of Angela C. (Folcarelli) Andreozzi. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in May.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Domenic and Columba (Delli Colli) Andreozzi, he moved to Cranston in 1992. Mr. Andreozzi was in the insurance industry for over 50 years and worked for Combined / AON Corporation in various sales and sales management positions.
He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and attended Roger Williams College. A sports enthusiast, he was a longtime active member of both the Providence and Cranston YMCA where he played full court basketball into his 70's. He was also a member of the Wanskuck Boys Club in Providence for over 70 years, and was an avid Red Sox, New England Patriots and Celtics fan.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Arlene Andreozzi of Cranston and Karyn Harrington and her husband Thomas of Novato, CA; loving grandfather of Austin and Ross Harrington; and dear brother of Elizabeth "Betty" DiPrete and Eleanor Corsetti, both of Cranston, Esther Lilli of North Providence, Corrine Caldarone and her husband Andrew of Pawtucket and the late John Andreozzi.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10 a.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS TUESDAY 4-8 p.m.
