ROBERT A. PAOLO

77, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved companion of Ann Marie Panarello. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Domenic and Elizabeth (Zangari) Paolo. Robert was a lifelong music teacher and conductor, a world champion accordion player whose students went on to also become champion players. He was also a producer of an album, and a veteran in the US Army National Guard. He is survived by his loving children, Pamela Velleco and her husband Ralph of Cranston, Gregory Paolo, PPD, and his wife Donna of North Providence, and Robert Paolo, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Matthew and Amanda Voccola, Domenic and Cole Paolo. He was a beloved brother of Thomas Paolo, Raymond Paolo, and Martha Gagnon all of Johnston. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
