RITA A. MORETTI
85, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Fenwick Landing, Waldorf, MD. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Papa) Moretti.
Rita was employed by the State of Rhode Island as a revenue agent for ten years before retiring in 1991. She was also employed by the former George B. Clegg Accounting Firm of Providence.
Rita was the sister of the late Anna Moretti Malo, and Alfred Joseph Moretti. She was the aunt of JoAnn Straatveit of White Plains, MD, Nancy Moretti of Rochester, NY, Carol Moretti and Lisa Moretti, both of California. Rita is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Saturday morning 9-10 a.m.
