Rita M. (DuBois) Mahon

89, of Cranston and formerly of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of Raymond J. Mahon. Born in Pawtucket, Rita was the daughter of the late Isidore and Lodiana (Beauchemin) DuBois.

She is survived by her children Skipper Mahon and his wife Jeannie of Bourne, MA, Christine Izzi and her husband Peter of Cranston and Cathy Trudeau and her husband Barry of Jackson, NH. Mrs. Mahon was the sister of Roland DuBois of FL and the late Estelle Bradshaw, Phillip and Aurora DuBois. Rita was the cherished grandmother of Christopher, Rita, Kristen, Dayna, Catie and Casey as well as the loving great grandmother of five.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to MGH Brain Tumor Center, Yawkey Building 9th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts, 02114.
