Rita L. (Pansera) DePalo

90, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Savino DePalo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Elvira (Gallotta) Pansera.

Rita was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Cranston and St. Francis de Sales in North Kingstown, a member of the Legion of Mary, The Regina Coeli Society, a CCD instructor, and she served as a Eucharistic minister. She worked with RI Right to Life and was a champion of all unborn babies.

Rita is survived by her loving children, Vera DePalo, Nicholas DePalo and his wife Christine, Linda Osenkowski and her husband Michael, Joseph DePalo and his wife Barbara and John DePalo and his wife Kerry; thirteen cherished grandchildren, Benjamin and his wife Aimee, Stephen and his wife Jaymie, Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, Matthew, Mariah Callahan, Anthony, Nicholas, Kathleen, Patrick, John Savino, Vincent, Kayla Osenkowski, Katelynn Caruso and her husband Paul. She is also survived by her fifteen great-grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, James, Lauren, Arianna, Juliette, Adalynn, Sophie, Violet, Luca, Nico, Paisley, Francesca, Zeppelin, and Isaac. She was the dear sister of Anne Biello and the late Paul Filippone Sr. Rita also leaves behind her sister-in-law Angela Filippone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, North Kingstown. Her burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
