Rita (DeSimone) Carnevale

of Cranston passed away Sunday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenico Carnevale for 57 years.

Born in Itri, Italy she was the daughter of the late Noe and Angela (Ruggieri) DeSimone and she emigrated to this country in 1956. Rita was a Hair Stylist for various salons for many years.

She was the devoted mother of Dina M. Carnevale of Cranston and Rosemarie Carnevale Doidge and her husband Douglas of Cranston. She was the loving grandmother of Joseph, Juliana, Garrett and Delaney; and was the dear sister of the late Emilia Manzo and Giuseppe DeSimone.

She also leaves her beloved friend and sister-in-law Rose Ciacciarelli of Cranston and many loving nieces and nephews.

Rita enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends and enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday January 21, 2022 at 11:30 am. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by Entombment in St Peter & Paul Mausoleum St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
