RITA C. (DUQUETTE) AUGER

Rita C. (Duquette) Auger 93, of Huron Avenue, Narragansett, formerly of Pascoag, died peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2009 with her family at her side at Scallop Shell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Peace Dale. She was the wife of the late Leo F. Auger. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Esperalda (Plante) Duquette. Mrs. Auger was a mender for various mills in the Pascoaq area for eight years retiring in 1978. She was a past member of the Rosary and Altar Society at St. Joseph's Church, Pascoag and a member of the South County Museum Society. She is survived by one daughter Gloria C. Esposito and her husband Ernest of Narragansett. Rita was the grandmother of Michael and Mark Esposito and the great-grandmother of Conner and Nicholas. She was the sister of the late Wilfred Duquette, Doris Robillard, Albert and Irving Duquette. Rita was loved by family and friends and will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, (Rt.1A) 1111 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett on Sunday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Burrillville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
