Richard J. Tortolani, II

77, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Richard J. Tortolani and Rita Mary Agnes Enright Tortolani.  Richard worked as a toolmaker for many years, before retiring.

He is survived by his children, Hope Ann Taylor of West Warwick, Richard J. Tortolani, III of Cranston, and Lynn A. Tortolani of Foster.  Richard was the grandfather of Kristal, Steven, Christopher, Ashley, Merissa, Melvin, Jr., Alexandra, Anthony, and Alissa.  He was the great grandfather of Audrie, Chris Jr., Faith, Lorenzo, Melvin III, Hannah, Ryder, Aaron, J.J., Steven Jr., Ace, Matthew, Gionnii, and Ariyah.

He was the dear brother of Roger Tortolani.  Richard also leaves behind Buttons the Cat.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston, at 10 a.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are on Friday from 5-7 p.m.
