RICHARD STANLEY, SR

66, of Brooklyn Rd Narragansett passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at South County Hospital. He was the husband of the late MaryJane A. (Pennell) Stanley. Born in Worcester MA, he was a son of the late William and Jenny (Hicks) Stanley. Richard worked alongside his son his entire life in the asphalt paving business. He is survived by his children Richard Stanley, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Saunderstown, Kim Caruso of Saunderstown, Cheryl Reyes of Narragansett, and Jodie Stanley of Saunderstown. He was a brother of Marjorie Maples of CT, Barbara Stanley of MA, Jane Davis of MA, Ronald Stanley of MA, Leonard Stanley of CT, the late Henry Stanley, William Stanley, and Jack Stanley; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt.1a) Narragansett. Interment will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm.
