Richard J. Spaziano

83, of North Providence, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Mirarchi) Spaziano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rocco and Maggie Spaziano. Mr. Spaziano was a guidance counselor for the Johnston School Department for 27 years until his retirement; he was also a Korean War Air Force veteran.

Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving daughter Stephanie Spaziano and her husband Joseph Brucas and their son Jack of Newport. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Rocco Jr., Domenic, Carl, John, Anne, Vincent and Pat.  Richard also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Anthony Church, North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will take place in RI Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4- 8 pm.
