Richard N. Schayer, Sr.

of Cranston, passed away Sunday March 6, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Clark) Schayer for 59 years. Born in Cranston he was the son of the late Joseph and Louise (Nevelle) Schayer. Richard worked for Pepsi Cola as a truck driver for many years before retiring and was a US Army veteran.

Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Richard N. Schayer, Jr., Karen G. D’Alessio and David J. Schayer; loving grandfather of Steven Schayer and Daniel D’Alessio. He was the dear brother of Lillian Marcello and the late Joseph and Donald Schayer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Saturday Evening March 12, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Burial will be private.
