Richard "Oldie" Rotondo

81, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at RI Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luigi and Florence (DiMascio) Rotondo. Richard worked in the autobody industry for many years before retiring. Richard was a US army veteran serving during the Vietnam war. He was a kind and dependable person that all his friends and family could count on. Richard was also known for a good for laugh, "gas and go".

He is survived by his loving children, Dawn Rotondo and her wife Kirsten of Longwood FL, and Richard Rotondo Jr of Cranston. Richard was the loving companion of Margaret “Maggie” Carey. He was the cherished grandfather of three and great-grandfather of one. Brother of the late Barbara Johnston, Raymond, Robert and Armand Rotondo. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. 

His Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, at 4:00 p.m. followed by military honor presentation, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
