Richard R. Ponte, II

Richard R. Ponte, II, 48 of Warwick passed away on Tuesday October 4, 2022. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Richard and Sandra (Pecunioso) Ponte. He was the loving husband and best friend of Priscilla Leoso.

Rich was a 1991 graduate of LaSalle Academy; he then went on to receive his associates degree. He was a “jack of all trades” and mastered them all.

Richard leaves behind a successful construction company, Carlsbridge Interiors LLC. He was a partner at PVD Capital with his "baby brothers" Anthony and Joe, a venture that Richard helped incubate. He was also the CFO of BWood Fashion, and a consultant for many others. But his first and forever passion was with his big brother John Ponte, at Ponte Investments. The adventures they had together, and love they had for each other are endless.

Rich was so passionate about his family and his work. His ability to retain information was uncanny. His intelligence was only matched by his massively kind heart, with an empathic and gentle soul like no other. His willingness to always help anyone who needed it, even in his own times of need, he still found a way to help. Rich was truly one of a kind.

Besides his wife, he leaves behind his three "brothers" John Ponte, Joseph Simone, and Anthony Marsella and his 5 beloved furbies, Hera, Ripley, Abel & Cain and the cat that thinks he's a dog, Aleister Crowley.

His Funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910. VISITING HOURS will be held just prior to the service from 4:00 - 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donation in Rich's memory may be made to RISPA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.
