Richard "Rick" D. Paolucci

70, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 peacefully at RI Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Domenick F. Paolucci and Dora M. (DelGallo) Paolucci. Rick was a longtime commercial truck owner and operator as well as working for NE Motor Freight for over 50 years.

Rick is survived by his loving daughter Elizabeth Paolucci of Johnston. He was the cherished brother of Robert Paolucci, Alan Paolucci, his wife Theresa, Dawn Ross, her husband Nicholas, and brother-in-law Clyde Cameron all of Johnston. He was also the brother to the late Joyce Cameron.

Richard was the loving uncle to Stephen Praski of Warwick, Robert Paolucci, his wife Megan, and Mia Ross all of Johnston as well as the late Amanda Paolucci. Richard was also a great uncle to Anthony, Zackary, Luke. He was also survived by loving aunts and cousins.

Rick was an accomplished musician for many years traveling around the country playing guitar with his band.  He enjoyed playing and listening to various famous artists such as Steppenwolf, who he and his band opened for in concert in 1969. Rick was a lover of life and was up for anything whether it be enjoying a day at the beach with his daughter or hanging out with his family who meant the world to him, he was always ready to have a good time surrounded by the people he loved most. He loved making people laugh and laughing with the people he loved. He will be dearly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 18th, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston.
