Richard L. Beavais, III, MD., 30 of New York, NY and formally of Narragansett died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. He was born in Wakefield a son of Richard and Janet ( Canna ) Beauvais of Narragansett. He was the brother of Sherri, Matthew and Brian Beauvais of Narragansett. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Domenic and Yolanda ( Soldano ) Canna of Bristol. He was the grandson of the late Richard and Eleanor ( Guarniero ) Beauvais of Cranston. Richard was a 1995 graduate of Narragansett High School, 1999 graduate of Tulane University ( Magna Cum Laude ) and a 2003 graduate of Tufts Medical School. He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He was currently a fifth year resident of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Luke's/ Roosevelt Hospitals, New York City. Family and friends will remember him most for his smile, laughter and laid back attitude. His funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. ( Rt 1A ), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett at 10:am. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8pm.
