RICHARD J. MAIORISI

73, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Ann Marie (Marro) Maiorisi. Richard was born in Providence, a son of the late Carmino and Margaret (Giglio) Maiorisi. Mr. Maiorisi was the former Vice President of Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Rhode Island retiring in 2005. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children, Elaine Repping and her husband Jorik of Johnston, Stephen Maiorisi and his wife Christine of Scituate and Mary Ann Mello and her husband Andrew of Coventry. He was also the cherished grandfather of Katie and Nicholas Maiorisi. His funeral will be held on Monday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield St., Johnston.
