RICHARD P. GERVAIS

RICHARD P. GERVAIS 59, of Setian Circle, Johnston, passed away on Saturday November 28, 2009 at Hospice Care of RI Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Barbara-Ann (Norato) Gervais. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George E. and Elsie N. (Shea) Gervais. Richard was a graduate of University of Rhode Island in 1972 with a Bachelors of Science in Management Engineering and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Bryant College in 1976. Richard worked for the Medical Information Bureau Inc. (MIB Inc) in Westwood, MA. for 23 years before retiring in 2005. Upon retirement he worked part-time for Stop and Shop in Johnston. He also was an avid golfer and loved to travel. Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of David R. Gervais of Somerville, MA. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
