Richard W. DiSano

65, of Cranston formerly of Providence passed away at his home on January 28, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Christine M. Delgado-DiSano; devoted father of Richard A. DiSano (Angel) and Jennifer M. Delgado (Jeff); and loving grandfather of Talia DiSano and Easton.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Ellen (Labonte) DiSano.

He worked for Grace Church Apartments for many years before retiring.

An animal lover and nicknamed Doolittle, Rick loved to feed peanut butter sandwiches to the squirrels. Ricky was known for his fourth of July cookouts and fireworks.  He had a great sense of humor and an inability to filter and would burst out in song in the worst moments.  He enjoyed poker games on Friday nights.  Rick was an avid New England sports fan and Jerry Springer fan.

Besides his wife, children and grandchildren, he leaves his siblings, Joan Venezia (Anthony), Shelly Brown, Gail Almgren (the late Chipper), Gina DiSano, David DiSano (Anna), Kathleen Grafton (Robert); his granddog, Mika; his godsons, Karl, Tony, John and Jacob; and many cherished nieces and nephews.  He was a second father to Tino, Jay and others; and was the brother-in-law of David Delgado (Robin), Steven Delgado (Lisa), John Delgado (Tracy) and Maria King (Jason).  He was the brother of the late Dianne DiSano, Vivian Brazil and John DiSano.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston.  His burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS Wednesday from 4-8pm.
