Rev. Luigi "Gene" Zinni

Rev. Luigi "Gene" Zinni 84, of Cranston passed away Friday March 14, 2008 at Cra-Mar Meadows in Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Josephine (Scalzi) Zinni. He was born in Providence son of the late Michael and Lucia (Cappa) Zinni. Rev. Zinni was the founding Pastor of First Pentecostal Church, now Praise Tabernacle, in Cranston where he ministered faithfully for 40 years. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Pauline Cannistraci of CT, Joanne Johnson and Linda Cantone of Cranston, his devoted sisters, Elma Brown of Barrington, Irene Campagnone and Anna Zinni both of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 16 and the brother of the late Jennie Roderick, Thomas, Nicholas and Joseph Zinni. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, 10 am at Praise Tabernacle 251 Magnolia Street Cranston. Burial will be in Quidnessett Cemetery No. Kingstown.
