Pastor Elizabeth J. (Ianiero) Janiak , this WOMAN OF GOD went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Tuesday morning at home surrounded by her loved ones. Elizabeth was born in Providence, RI to Italian immigrants, Frank Ianiero and Viola (Papitto) Ianiero, and sister to her now deceased beloved brother Frank Scolardi Ianiero. Elizabeth and husband John were the founders and active Pastors of Living Waters Foursquare Gospel Church in Smithfield, RI and founders of Hands Reaching Out Ministries which is used to minister the Word of God through radio and television locally, nationally, and internationally. The television programs still air nationally and will continue into the future. The television ministry has received numerous awards for content and quality. Pastor Elizabeth was formally a multi-corporate controller with local Real Estate firms as well as a gifted professional singer/song writer. She is a graduate of Zion Bible College in 1984 and was ordained a Pastor of the Foursquare Full Gospel Denomination. Elizabeth was the first female Pastor to be ordained as a minister at Zion Bible College in over 40 years. Pastor Elizabeth and her husband Jack, who was the co-pastor of Living Waters Church also created a community outreach program which also fed weekly bagged lunches and warm clothes to the needy in downtown Providence. Pastor Elizabeth held multiple healing services throughout New England and was invited to a multitude of Christian Conferences held nationally to speak and teach to other Pastors and teachers. Elizabeth leaves her beloved husband John, whom she called her "Barnabas" (means helper) as well as 4 children, Bernadette Bessette of Warwick, Valerie Curley of North Providence, Caroline Janiak of Providence. Grandmother of 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Elizabeth also was mother to Steven Janiak of Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service, to be held on Saturday at 9 am in Living Waters Church 251 Stillwater Rd., Smithfield. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
