REGINA C. (DUDA) PELLI

81, of Saunderstown, formerly of Cranston passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2011, at home. She was the beloved wife of Roger Pelli. They were married for sixty years. Born in Clinton, MA, she was a daughter of Stanley and Josephine Duda. Mrs. Pelli graduated from Bryant College, as an executive secretary in the Class of 1949. She was a past parish secretary and served as a teacher of religious instruction at St. Mary's Church, Cranston, for over forty years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Dr. Roger T. Pelli and his wife Lynn of Presque Isle, ME, Sandra O. Romano and her husband John of West Kingston, Linda A. Darzio and her husband Richard of Cranston, Stanley A. Pelli, Esq. and his wife Dr. Ann-Christine Duhaime of Charlestown, MA, Alan R. Pelli and his wife Wendy of Coventry, and Melissa M. Pickett and her husband Dr. Brian Pickett of Richmond. Regina was the cherished grandmother of eleven and the great-grandmother of four. She was the sister of Kathy Girard and her husband Robert of Sutton, MA and the late Helen Minor, Viola Warren, Anna Taber, Stephanie "Stella" Walls, Wanda, Edward and Leon Duda.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
