86 , of Ashley St., Cranston died on Sunday September 30, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Tina ( Croce ) Robertus for 56 years. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska a son of the late Henry and Amelia ( Kahm ) Robertus and he had resided most of his life in Cranston. Mr. Robertus along with his wife were co-founders and owners of the former Allied Sheet Metal Co. of Cranston for more than 27 years and had also co-founded the former N. E. Creamery Co. of Cranston. He had also been employed as lead projectionist at the former Pike Drive-In, Johnston. Mr. Robertus was a WW II Army Veteran serving in the European Theatre of Operations receiving numerous Metals of Distinction. He was a member of the Cranston Senior Center, VFW Post # 2396 and a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Cranston. He is survived by his sons; Richard A. Robertus and his wife Linda L. of Cranston and Ronald L. Robertus and his wife Joanne M. of No. Providence. He was the grandfather of Lisa L. Poole of Warwick and Shannon K. Robertus of Arlington, MA. He was the brother of Rose Keller of Colorado and the late Henry and Marie Robertus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. His funeral, with military honors, will be held on Thursday at 9:am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10:am.
