Raymond R. Rave

75, of Coventry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was the husband of 52 years to Geraldine (Schiapo) Rave. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late August and Fannie (Fellela) Rave. He was the brother of the late Anne Perkins. Mr. Rave was the owner and operator of Rave Home Builders for over 50 years. Ray was a talented craftsman, beloved by his customers and business associates, many of whom became lifelong friends. He was very proud of his recently completed pirate boat, which he built and sailed on Johnson's Pond this past summer.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children: David Rave (SFD, EPFD ret.) of Cranston and Lori Rave of Coventry, his cherished grandchildren: Sabrina and Nicholas and was also the beloved uncle of several nieces and nephews. Raymond also leaves behind his faithful, loving dog Patches.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday 11:00 am in Saints John & Paul Church, Coventry. Limited seating, social distancing and masks are required.  Burial and visiting hours will be private due to COVID 19 protocol. are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Raymond's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude PL Memphis TN 38105-9959.
