RAYMOND RAMIERZ

85, of Yeoman Ave., Cranston, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Beatrice L. (Tartaglia) Ramirez. Born in San Antonio, Cavite, Philippines, he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Mario Ramirez.

Raymond was a U. S. Navy veteran serving for 22 years and later worked for the U.S. Government for 21 years before retiring.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Carmella Frey of Coventry, Danny Franco of Johnston, Sinai Zimmerman and Nikki Boehm, both of Virginia and Brian P. Ramirez of Cranston; loving grandfather of several grandchildren; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and one great great-granddaughter.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter. VISITING HOURS SUNDAY 4-8 p.m.
