Raymond G. Pensalfini

95, of Susan Circle, Johnston, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Ilda R. (DeStefanis) Pensalfini. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert E. and Ida L. (Trivisonno) Pensalfini.

Raymond was a bricklayer in the construction industry for many years before retiring; and was a U.S. Korean War veteran. He was a longtime parishioner at St. Rocco Church, an avid golfer, gardener and sports enthusiast.

He was the devoted father of Lori A. Ruggieri and her husband Peter of Cranston and Raymond S. Pensalfini of Johnston; cherished grandfather of Brandon Ruggieri, Michael Pensalfini, Kayleah Pensalfini and Joshua Pensalfini; and dear brother of Helen Leamy of NC and the late Edward and William Pensalfini.

His Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 931 Atwood Ave, Johnston. Burial with military honors at St. Ann Cemetery will be private, and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
