RAYMOND KANDZIERSKI

Raymond Kandzierski 84, of Brentwood Dr., Johnston passed away Tuesday June 9, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the husband of the late Grace L. (Lombardo) Kandzierski. Mr. Kandzierski had resided in Johnston for over 50 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Zygmont and Annie (Stube) Kandzierski. He was a WW-II Navy Veteran. Raymond worked as a stone setter for Clark & Coombs for 45 years before retiring. He enjoyed socializing and traveling, which included many excursions to various casinos. He was the father of Kathleen Kandzierski and Kenneth Kandzierski both of Johnston, and brother of the late Joseph, Walter, Stephen and Henry Kandzierski. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church Providence at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
