RAYMOND DeSIMONE

84, of Bolton St. Cranston, passed away Saturday September 10, 2011 at River View Nursing Home in Coventry. He was the devoted husband of Philomena (Laprocina) DeSimone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Giovanna "Jenny" (D'Assandro) DeSimone. Raymond was a tool maker for the former Esposito Jewelry Company for many years, before retiring.

Besides his wife he was the beloved father of Raymond DeSimone Jr. of Cranston and Robert DeSimone of Coventry. He was the loving grandfather of Raymond DeSimone 111 of Providence; dear brother of Vincent DeSimone and the late Antonio "Bill" DeSimone, Benito "Benny" DeSimone and Marie Ashley.

His funeral service will be held on THURSDAY AT 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
