RAYMOND G. CONTI
RAYMOND G. CONTI, 79, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Briarcliffe Nursing Home in Johnston. Born in Cranston, he was the devoted son of the late Antonio and Lucia (Carnevale) Conti.
Raymond worked in the fruit and produce business for many years before retiring. He was U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
He was the dear brother of Gloria A. Lupino of Johnston, Gilda Napolitano of North Kingstown, and the late Philip, Diane and Edward Conti; and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
His funeral and burial at RI Veterans Cemetery was private.
