RAYMOND A. CAMBIO, 89, of Macklin St., Cranston, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Sylvia (Box) Cambio.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alexandro and Anna (Feeley) Cambio.

Raymond was a carpenter and worked for G.A. Laurienzo Construction for 30 years and later at RI Hospital for 19 years before retiring.  He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran; a member and former Commander of VFW Post 2396; member of the DAV; and a former volunteer at Button Hole Golf Course. Raymond was also a member the Cranston Senior Center and a long time member of the Cranston YMCA.

Besides his wife Sylvia, Raymond was the devoted father of Raymond A. Cambio, Jr. and Sandra Cambio Gregoire, both of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Cory R. Cambio and Michael R. Gregoire, Jr.; and dear brother of the late James Feeley, Joseph, Donald and Robert Cambio and Eleanor McGovern. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 6th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m.  Burial with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
