84, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Carol E. (Mignanelli) Alexandre for 61 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Armand and Lillian (Duhaime) Alexandre.
Raymond’s career included serving as the Head of the Education Center at Amtrol, where he played a pivotal role in educating and training many individuals in the industry. His expertise and leadership were further demonstrated during his time at HoneyWell as a National Sales Manager, where he made significant contributions to the company and built lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
In addition to his professional achievements, Raymond served his country proudly in the US Army National Guard, where he fulfilled his duty during peacetime.
After retiring in 2006, Raymond embraced new passions, particularly the art of woodturning. He became skilled in crafting segmented bowls and created many beautiful pieces that spoke to his creativity and eye for detail. His talent brought joy not only to him but also to those who were fortunate enough to receive his handcrafted items.
Above all, Raymond cherished the time spent with his family. He was a loving presence in their lives, creating lasting memories and nurturing connections that will be remembered fondly.
Besides his wife Carol, Raymond is survived by his loving children, Linda DelToro and her husband Anthony Sr., of Cranston, Donna Torrey and her husband Richard “Dick” of Coventry, and Raymond Alexandre Jr., of Coventry. He was the cherished grandfather of Anthony DelToro Jr., Alyssa Raboin, Daria Cerce, and Deanna Cerce. He was also the adored great-grandfather of Arianna Raboin. Brother of Annette Dove of Maryland.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, March 27th at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Apostles Church Memorial Society, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921.
