Raul Guerra 74, of Crossway Road, Cranston, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the home of his daughter on Marshall Street, Providence. He was the husband of Francisca (Lopez) Guerra; they were married for 55 years. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, he was a son of the late Pedro and Victoria (Velasquez) Guerra. Mr. Guerra was a textile worker for various manufacturing companies for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Miriam Aguilar of Providence, Vilma Ruiz, Olga DePaz both of Cranston, Edwin Guerra of Virginia, Veronica Martinez of Providence and Erick Guerra of Westerly. Mr. Guerra was the grandfather of twelve and the great-grandfather of nine. He was the brother of Prudencio Guerra of Texas, Francisco Guerra, Carmen Avila both of Providence, Martha Diaz of New York and the late Armando Guerra. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight Street, Providence and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday 2-9 p.m. Burial will be private. www.turnto10.com
