81, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Vincenza C. (Barone) DeFusco. They were married for fifty-eight years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Raphaela DeFusco. Mr. DeFusco was a metal smith at the former US Naval Air Station, Quonset Point for twenty-five years before his retirement. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. Ralph enjoyed cooking and was an avid NY Yankee fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Joanne L. McKenna and her husband John, and Lisa A. Vespia and her husband Richard all of Cranston. Ralph was the cherished grandfather of Erica, Jonathon, Michael and Anthony. He was the brother of Isabelle Barron of Pawtucket, Veronica Mitchell and Barbara Rocchio, both of Johnston, and the late Joseph, Angelo, William, Raymond, Anthony, Roy, and Carmen DeFusco, Christine Sarro, Etta Traficante and Celia Cerra.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
