RALPH J. ( WHITEY) RAGOSTA
RALPH J. RAGOSTA ,82, of Wales St. Cranston passed away Wednesday June 24, 2009 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Marie A. (Zambarano) Ragosta. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Antonetta (DeRobbio) Ragosta.
He was a WW-II Navy Veteran. Ralph worked for the former Gorham Mfg. Company as a silversmith for 50 years, before his retirement.
Besides his beloved wife he is survived by his loving son, James J. Ragosta of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Marie Vigeant, Viola Massarone, James and Domenic Ragosta.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church Providence at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8 p.m.
