90, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice In-Patient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria (Iannelli) Izzo. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Vincenzo and Teresa (Scuncio) Izzo. Mr. Izzo was the owner and operator of the former Izzo Market in Johnston. Ralph was also a WW II Army veteran. He is survived by his loving children, Elizabeth Izzo Ricci and her husband Angelo of Cranston, Anthony Izzo and his wife Dina of Johnston, his cherished grandchildren Anthony M. Ricci, Lisa-Marie Ricci, Dr. Anthony F. Izzo, Daniel V. Izzo, his great grandson, Nikolas Marc Ricci. He was also the brother of Carlo Izzo of Johnston, Rose Crudale of Cranston, Dolores Pagano of Johnston, Vincent Izzo of Johnston and late Rocco Izzo, Filomena Ricci and Theresa Rossi. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
