80, of Providence, and Leesburg, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria C. (Lombardi) DePetrillo. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Angelo and Lucia (Caniglia) DePetrillo. Primo was the owner of the former Diamond CafAC. in Cranston. He was an investor and partner in numerous ventures who found great enjoyment in looking for and putting together the 'next deal'. In addition to his love of family and friends, he was an avid car enthusiast. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War Era.
He is survived by his loving children, Primo S. DePetrillo, Jr. and Karen I. Norato, both of Cranston, Francine D. Corvese of Wakefield, Luci A. Bakker of Seattle, WA, Sheila A. Sterling, and Kathy L. Cox, both of Wilmington, DE. He was the cherished grandfather of twelve and is also survived by one great-grandson, and his friend and companion Patricia Vaslet. He was the brother of the late Frances Rossi, Armand, and Angelo DePetrillo, and Florence Madonna.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
