PIETRO "PETE" MAGNANI

72 , of Forand Circle, Johnston, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of Claire (Courtemanche) Magnani. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Pietro and Eva (Marchetti) Magnani. Mr. Magnani had been a Johnston resident for most of his life. He was a machine operator for Jay Printing of Warwick. Pete was a member of the Aime Forand Tenants Association, the Johnston Senior Center, past President of Bar-B-Whirlers Square Dance Club and was an avid bowler with the Manton Seniors. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons: Charles Magnani of FL, Peter Magnani of NC and one daughter: Denise LoPresti of Cranston, one brother Joseph Magnani of Cranston, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston at 9:00am. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS Friday 5-8pm.
