68, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, Cranston. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Antonetta (Palumbo) Cicchetti.
Phyllis worked as a chef at Mama Julia’s restaurant, her family’s business, from the late 1980’s until 2000. She then became a chef for the Franciscan Friars at St. Francis Chapel for eleven years. Phyllis transitioned into the hospitality department at St. Francis Chapel where she worked until her retirement.
Phyllis is survived by many cousins and dear friends. She was known as “Auntie Phyllis” to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10am in St. Pius V Church, 240 Eaton St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Phyllis’ name.
