81, of Narragansett and Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 28, 2022 in Narragansett. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie (King) Larson for sixty-three years.
Born in New Britain, CT he was the son of the late Haddon N. and Dorothy S. (Bacon) Larson.
A commercial electrician most of his life, he was a member of IBEW Local 90 and retired as a real estate broker.
He enjoyed coaching baseball years ago; and was an avid farmer and boater. He served as a deacon at Kensington Congregational Church in CT and after moving to Florida attended the First Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Philip, Eric and Roger; two sisters, Gretchen Taylor and Jean Xarhakos; brother-in-law, Patrick King; six grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, Ryan, Kyle, Mackenzie and Regan; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Philip’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 or to the First Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie, 2401 SE Sidonia St, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
