Philip Herrick Hayden

Son of the late Harold Hayden and Freda (Herrick) Hayden Bamforth. Stepson of the late Stanley R. Bamforth.  Married to Jeanette Ann (Imondi) for 65 years.  Father of Lori Lousararian of Mansfield, MA, Judith Swirbalus of Needham, MA, and Philip Hayden, Jr. of Piermont, NY.  Loving grandfather of Adam, Jack, and Amy Lousararian, Nicole, Michael, Thomas (TJ), and Matthew Swirbalus, and Sydney Hayden.  Brother of Raymond of East Greenwich, David of NY, and Paul of England.

Lifelong resident of Cranston and parishioner of St. Rocco’s Church.  Served in the US Navy during the Korean War 1953-1957 on the destroyer escort, the USS Huse. Graduated from Bryant College in 1959 and became a CPA in 1967 with KPMG.  Served as CFO in the private sector for the remainder of his career.  Member of the Board of Trustees at Bryant College from 1977-1988.  His family and friends fulfilled his life; he loved sharing his passion for sports with his children and grandchildren.  He was an avid golfer and a member of the Alpine Country Club.  He was also a member of the American Legion-Providence Post #1 and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Calling hours and burial are private (family only).  Mass of Christian burial open to family and friends at 10am on Saturday, November 5th at St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston, RI.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
