PETER F. SANO, SR

Peter F. Sano, Sr. 73, of Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of Janice C. (Hebert) Sano. They were married for seventeen years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary (Fedele) Sano. Mr. Sano was a sales representative for the former Standard Uniform Company of Pawtucket for twenty years before retiring in 1997. He was a US Army veteran. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Patricia A. Emilianowicz and her husband Michael of North Providence and Peter A. Sano and his wife Dawnmarie of Johnston. He was the grandfather of six and the great-grandfather of one great-granddaughter. Mr. Sano was the brother of Robert Sano of Scituate, and Anna Caloura of West Warwick. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8 p.m.
