PETER JAMGOCHIAN, (PFD, RET.)

84, of Greenwich Ave., Warwick, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband for 55 years of Victoria "Vickie" (Kolligian) Jamgochian. Born in Providence, the son of the late Sarkis and Anna (Minassian) Jamgochian, he lived in Providence for 75 years before moving to Warwick.

Peter was a firefighter for the City of Providence for 31 years and retired in 1986 with the rank of captain. He was a U.S. Army veteran; a member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church and Chairman of the church Senior Citizens Group; and a member of The Providence Retired Police & Firefighters Association.

Besides his wife, he was the father of Peter Stuart Jamgochian and step-father of Gary R. Kolligian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by interment at North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
