PETER MORRONE

94, of Johnston, passed away on May 4, 2013 at the Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Adeline (DeLauro) Morrone for 73 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Emilia (Merolla) Morrone.

Peter started working as a professional photographer for many years. He then worked as a road inspector for the State of R.I. for 20 years until his retirement. Peter was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter Arlene Abbatomarco and her husband Frank of Avon Lake, Ohio; his cherished grandchildren Kimberly Porter (Greg) and Amy Abbatomarco; his loving great-grandchildren Amanda and Kaitlyn Porter.

His funeral services and burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
