PETER MIKAELIAN

PETER MIKAELIAN , 81, of Welfare Ave., Cranston, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Grace S. "Bunny" (Surabian) Mikaelian. Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Nishan and Eva (Serabian) Mikaelian. Peter was co-owner of United Building Co. for many years before retiring. He was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran. He was the devoted father of Paul N. Mikaelian and Linda Hurteau and her husband Edward, all of Cranston; loving grandfather of Michael and Kristen Hurteau; and dear brother of Zarouhi "Sarah" Rumburg of Cranston and the late Charles "Garo" Mikaelian. His funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 11a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be at North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
