PETER S. KANSAS

68, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 at home. Born in Providence, he was a son of Evangeline (Leatos) Kansas of Cranston and the late Michael Kansas. Peter was a teacher for the Providence School Department for thirty-two years before his retirement in 2007. He was a graduate of Quinnipiac University, and earned his masters degree from the University of Rhode Isalnd.

Besides his mother, he is survived by one sister, E. Rita Kansas of Narragansett and the late C. Michael Kansas.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Interment will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
